The property is very handy for the town, but far enough away not to hear any noise. The restaurant was great, and good perfect.

Delightful and cozy, with great views of the lake!

Close to town, hotel had a great vibe and was very homely. The breakfast was amazing and loved the fact you could opt out of having the room cleaned for a $20 voucher each day, win win. The view from breakfast was breathtaking.

Wifi was a little bit hit and miss moving around the room and there wasn't much to watch on TV to unwind at the end of the day.

Fabulous accommodation close to everything with very professional and friendly service.

We booked a garden view room as we have a 1 year old and thought the direct access to an outdoor space would be good, but weather didnt permit us to use it unfortunately as it was too cold. Views from the hotel restaurant are fantastic and the service was very welcoming and friendly and professional.

Being on the lowest level of the hotel the rooms are a little darker and lack a view, but in theory if the weather is nice enough to use the outdoor space then that would make up for it. The views from the restaurant at the hotel are spectacular and made up for it!

it's a mixed bag at this potentially lovely hotel. make sure you get view you pay for

the hotel is quite lovely and near enough to town. views from some rooms are amazing. the staff are very nice and try to be accommodating and helpful. rooms are really incredible. book the higher floors! lower floors look at the back of a building with lake glimpses over the top. the Scottish young staff member in the bar was lovely. Most of the staff are.

we booked a room with a lake view and got mainly the view of the back of a building. we asked to change rooms and after much (mostly helpful) back and forth we at least got a higher room for the second night. the room we were given wasn't quite what we were told we would get but it was fine and we appreciated the gesture. the staff are lovely but there seems to be confusion and not a cohesive action plan. one staff member told us our new room was ready and we went up only to find out she had that wrong and we had to go back down and wait ion the foyer. it's just the little things that got in the way. the 2nd room had been sprayed with some kind of deodoriser or perfume that would have killed a small elephant and it took hours to dissipate. would we stay there again? not too sure.

Queenstown memories with St. Moritz

The location of the hotel and the view from balcony

We were given a wine bottle on first day as a compliment to compensate for our blockage of balcony due to renovation work. The bottle was used only 10 percent. On our request hotel obliged us and changed our room with a balcony with a clear opening and view. As the luggage was shifted I enquired about the wine bottle, the housekeeping staff said they have removed it which I found very surprising. I didn't like this behaviour of the staff. Rest all was good

View from the room….exceptional staff….proximity to the town centre….comfortable public spaces….

On site parking was perhaps a little sparse for the capacity of the hotel….

Memorable, happy, warm, luxurious are the words I use to describe my stay at Hotel St Moritz!!

The staff went over and above to meet requests. It was a very special occasion for my son and his partner, with my son planning to propose during his stay. The staff were so wonderful and generous upon their engagement and they were gifted a wonderful bottle of champagne from the Hotel staff - memorable moments made more perfect.

The maintenance that was taking place outside of the hotel which impacted views from restaurant. Although sufficient warning of this work taking place outside of the hotel had already been advised, this was my only criticism of the hotel.

Good

Arrived with scaffolding blocking our view, but fortunately it only lasted one day I believe. Hotel did have a comp bottle of wine as an apology. Rooms only have king beds . . .no doubles. Our room didn't have microwave. WAs some spotty areas on ceiling and carpet had lots of stains. Gym was basically a closet . . . 3 pieces of cardio. They should just close it. Restaurant was overpriced and not that great.

It needs more cleaning, updating rooms.

Very Good

Staff servivce was exceptional. They made the difference between having a good stay to a great stay. Rooms are moody and cosy with more of a chalet feel. Great location, less than 10 minute walk into town.

The no cancellation policy is too rigid. Worked out for us , but I was a bit nervous about losing money if for some reason we had to cancel. Shoud at least offer another time to stay/credit.

Hotel was good but I wouldn’t eat there.

We had room with the lake view, it was wonderful. Room was nice, location was great except we had to climb steep hill to get to the hotel. First time was little tough but we got use to it.

Dinner at the hotel restaurant was not good, it expensive and food was lousy, it greasy and fish was over cooked. View of my lake was great.

Lovely hotel, great location

Lovely hotel, great location, 5 minute walk to town, comfortable, good breakfast, lovely view from restaurant, helpful staff, laundry facilities. We found on arrival our room didn’t have a bath as was booked, but this was quickly resolved and our room changed. Necessary after a day out on the mountain as the spa baths were closed due to maintenance. Lovely warm lobby area with fireplace and beautiful scent

Unfortunately the spa baths were closed due to maintenance work outside, so thankfully we had a room with a bath. Our room faced the carpark drive so no view, would have been amazing facing the lake but perhaps that was the deal we got.

Funky atmosphere. Would stay again.

Very cool decor. Extremely spacious room. Love the body wash and lotion options.

The bar staff wasn’t very knowledgeable. The shared spa pool is not ideal.

Nice hotel for a great week in Queenstown.

Close to town, nice hotel.

The lift doesn’t go up to the 7th floor, you have to walk down to the 6th floor to get the lift down. Hassle when you have your ski gears to move each day.

Good base for snow sports , (10 mins walk from Snow Centre), close to queenstown boardwalk. Very comfortable hotel

Comfortable rooms, great restaurant/ bar, helpful staff.

No lift to 7th floor (only goes to 6). Bit of a walk up the hill, although the views from the restaurant were worth it
